The company Syngenta, the representative office of the global producer and supplier of crop protection products, seed and agri-digital solutions in Ukraine, and the company LNZ Group, a Ukrainian vertically integrated agro-industrial holding, announced a cooperation that provides for long-term local production of a sunflower hybrid and its exclusive distribution, and will also provide additional opportunities for future cooperation in the corn direction.
Thanks to the new stage of cooperation, LNZ Group will exclusively supply the sunflower hybrid NK Kondi from Syngenta. From now on producers will be able to purchase this hybrid only through LNZ Group representatives and directly from Syngenta. In addition to sales, the company also receives exclusive rights to the field and factory production of NK Kondi. This expands the horizons of the partnership and opens up new directions for joint projects. Such a step makes it possible to deepen cooperation between the companies and in the perspective form even more attractive offers for producers.
NK Kondi is a classic mid-season hybrid, recommended for growing in Polissia and the Forest-Steppe. It demonstrates a high yield — up to 5 t/ha and an oil content of up to 55%, and stands out for its resistance to phomopsis, stem and head sclerotinia, and also adapts well to various climatic conditions.
The companies also confirm the intention of further cooperation regarding the production and exclusive distribution of the corn hybrid SI Fenomen — a moderately intensive hybrid with high yield potential and a level of drought tolerance. The exclusive partnership provides for:
• The possibility to improve seed planning and ordering by the farm
• Fast logistics through the local distributor LNZ Group
• Double agronomic support from the Syngenta and LNZ Group teams
• Access to advanced genetics with local expertise
The Ukrainian farmer deserves the best genetics and professional support that works directly on their land. This partnership is primarily about innovative seed reaching the farmer quickly, with full agronomic support and on favourable terms. Syngenta and LNZ Group know the Ukrainian farmer, know their challenges. Together we are creating an approach where Syngenta genetics and comprehensive local expertise work as one team — for the harvest and profit, for the stability of Ukrainian agribusiness," notes Oleksandr Kravchuk, general director of Syngenta.
We value this cooperation, because it allows us to offer clients those solutions that have proven their efficacy in the field. NK Kondi is a hybrid that farmers know and respect, and for us — a symbol of trust and stability. We strive for our partners to have access only to the best and time-proven products," emphasises Andrii Poltavets, director of LNZ Group. At LNZ Group they note that the seed of the NK Kondi hybrid is already available for order from the company's regional managers, whose contacts can be found on the official LNZ Group website.
