In August the 8th season of the LNZ hub 8.0 technology platform started, which lasted until 18 September. The organisers note that the event went excellently, many farmers came to the Cherkasy region to adopt the specialists' experience. The company rates the effectiveness of this year's event at 100%.
On the trial fields 4 crops were presented to the farmers: winter wheat, sunflower, soybean and maize. For the most part the crop-growing technologies and protection features are of interest to agricultural producers. This was reported to AgroPortal.ua by the agri-technology manager in the Odesa region of LNZ Group, Oleksandr Kotyhora.
First of all, farmers are interested in the results of the studies of the plots with wheat regarding yield, they are very interested in the technology that was used on sunflower, on maize, which hybrids were sown, which protection system was applied, what the herbicide, fungicide and insecticide protection was, which products were used. LNZ hub 8.0 is also visited by farmers from the centre and west of Ukraine, who are very interested in soybean, in the technology of growing it specifically on our plot. We have already harvested one variety, so agricultural producers are interested in the yield. Our guests also like the crash tests (how not to do it, so as not to repeat mistakes) and the event as a whole.
Within the technology platform farmers also have the opportunity to visit the Tevitta plant for freezing vegetables, berries and fruit and the Lebedyn seed plant, where they get acquainted with the production. Oleksandr noted that the seed plant of LNZ Group is one of the newest in Ukraine and meets all the criteria of European quality.
