On 13 August, LNZ Group held the first event in its series of regional Mini Hub Field Days in Odesa Oblast. Here, at the Donchuk farm, a Mini Hub on corn cultivation was launched.

On 13 August, in the village of Pishchana, Odesa Oblast, the first Mini Hub organized by representatives of LNZ Group took place in the fields of the Donchuk farm.

«The main purpose of this event is to tell farmers in this region, in particular smallholders and small farms, that this year we launched a new service, LNZ Web. At the farm, we demonstrated how simple, easy and convenient it is today to use this service and order seeds, crop protection products and fertilizers with delivery within 2 days from a large distributor to a small farmer», — noted Viacheslav Panasiuk, Crop Protection Systems Marketing Manager at LNZ Group.

In addition, during the event guests had the opportunity to see and evaluate UNIVERSEED corn crops — both the grain and the silage hybrid lines.

«Since this is our first time in this region with this Field Day format, we focused on UNIVERSEED corn hybrids, which are best suited for growing in the south. We also focused on protection systems from DEFENDA In particular, in the corn crops on the trial field the herbicide Sumaro (mesotrione) was applied at the 5-7 leaf stage. Today the field is clean and free of weeds, including broadleaf ones, and both we and the farm's representatives are satisfied with the product's performance», — says Viacheslav Panasiuk, Crop Protection Systems Marketing Manager at LNZ Group.

The new Mini Hub brought together more than 40 farmers from across the region. But this is only the beginning: similar Field Days will soon be held in other regions of the country.
