At the National Farm Day, held at Ahrofirma Maiak LLC in the Poltava region, LNZ Group presented unique corn hybrids of the UNIVERSEED brand.

«Since this event brings together livestock farmers and is focused primarily on producing high-quality feed, LNZ Group decided to share its achievements and present UNIVERSEED corn hybrids to Ukrainian farmers. Our company is the largest distributor in Ukraine's corn business, and under the UNIVERSEED brand our portfolio offers 11 corn hybrids, 8 of them grain and 3 silage hybrids,» says Anna Filatova, field crops product manager at LNZ Group.
According to her, the corn hybrid plays an important role in silage production, as it must meet the right criteria to increase cow productivity.
«Testing and registration of the best North American hybrids took five years. During this time, more than 1.5 thousand hybrids were tested in LNZ Group fields. We selected the best lines adapted to Ukraine's soil and climate zones. The advantages of the new unique hybrids include a balance between effective fiber and digestible mass, a floury grain type that breaks down better in the rumen, and unique agronomic traits: high total yield, plant height and an extended harvesting window,» notes Anna Filatova
LNZ Group notes that research continues, hybrid trials are ongoing, and in the near future the company's portfolio will be expanded with new corn hybrids.
