Until the end of February, LNZ Group continues to hold meetings with farmers in all regions of Ukraine, discussing the most pressing topics ahead of the sowing campaign.

Such meetings between company representatives and agricultural producers in each region demonstrate the company's focus on regional problems and farmers' needs, as well as its individual approach to every farmer. In addition to getting acquainted with the new brands and products represented by LNZ Group, agricultural producers have the opportunity to discuss their production issues and get advice on choosing hybrids and crop protection and nutrition technologies.
«Together with farmers, we discuss issues that are relevant to each region. Given the different climatic conditions, and the fact that the autumn-winter period turned out to be rather untypical for Ukraine, each region has its own specifics and problems. There is no universal technology. That is why we are holding these meetings from 17 to 28 February, to decide together with farmers which spring protection strategy for winter cereals is best for each region and which herbicide protection to choose for cereals and industrial crops in order to achieve good yields despite climate change», says Viacheslav Panasiuk, Head of the Field Marketing Department at LNZ Grouр.
According to him, during the meetings in Kharkiv region, for example, in addition to DEFENDA brand products, farmers were interested in UNIVERSEED brand corn hybrids, in particular Leafy-type silage hybrids. For agricultural producers in Vinnytsia region, the relevant issues were corn yield, moisture release and nutrition. In Poltava region, however, the greatest interest was in the fungicide group of products, cereal crop protection and the use of soil-applied herbicides to protect sunflower and corn. In particular, the most relevant topic was the wheat protection system from DEFENDA. Round table participants asked about the effectiveness and quality of the products and the rules for mixing them. So at this event, the correct use of soil-applied herbicides depending on the soil and climatic zone was discussed in detail, as well as how to properly build effective protection systems taking into account the weather conditions of 2020.
Meetings of the LNZ Group Agro Department with agricultural producers have already taken place in Kharkiv, Poltava, Vinnytsia and Kyiv regions. A number of regional round tables are still ahead, where farmers will receive comprehensive answers to their questions.
